PAK / G.W.MYERS - FRONTS AND BACKS SPLIT C10
A SIMPLE OUTING, FIVE MINUTES EACH BY PAK AND GWM.  PAK'S SIDE IS HEAVY ON THE TAPE LOOPS AND BASS, MAKING THE MOST OF THE FIVE MINUTES- YOU REALLY FEEL IT ON THE LOOPING HIGHS AND THE STUMBLING CREAKS OF THE BASS.  GWM'S SIDE IS ELECTRONICS AND SYNTH, SLOW AND MEATY,  WITH SQUEAKS OF BASS AND HUMMING LOW END COMING OUTOF HISS INTO A LOOPING SYNTH SNARL TO CLOSE OUT THE  NIGHT.  FULL COLOR COVER BY PAK AND GWM.  EDITION OF 30,  10 RESERVED FOR THE INTERNET, OTHERWISE IT'S GONE ALREADY $6
CHERRY BLOSSOMS LP
I can't say enough about the strength of this record.  I've been listening to this homemade cdr these dudes gave me after playing in our house nearly 5 years ago.  There are so many wrong ways to attempt to describe this, to say outsider or naive would undercut the grand vision and composition of these songs, no disrespect but the Shaggs weren't trying to make this record.  But still it's unhinged, it has bolts loose, but in the rickety, creaky truck bumpin down the road kind of way, not the 'dangerous around kids' kind of way.  All at once moving, fun and challenging this record will remain not only in the "top ten records you didn't hear this year" list but will remain on your turntable.

RACK RASH  -  REMEMBERS THE ISLETS OF LANGERHANS  3" CDR
Technically a reissue of a tape that was 'released' in an edition of, i think, 3.  Tim Sheldon from fat worm of error commits to tape (now a 3" cdr) processed guitar and gamelan to land your ears on a lush landscape, or a mini-scape, like a pulling a piece of food out of your teeth and a lilypad comes out with frogs jumping off.  large statements in the subtlety.   A great follow-up to the Oxbow Meads release on the great Yeay! label.  Full color fold out packaging. $6
TARP 7"
Meddling about in a world of psychedelic volcano bubbles this record was born; bringing forth 2 sides of pure synthesized garble both rhythmic and melodic while remaining free and unpredictable.  Tarp is the synth duo of Joshua Burkett (Vermonster, Believers, Joshua) and Conrad Capistran (Sunburned Hand of The Man).  Challenging in both its simplicity and veracity.  When extremes are the only source of emotional response, this subdued reveal is a welcome change to the landscape.  Full color sleve w/ artwork by george w. myers.  first of a bunch of split releases with the great Apostasy Recordings! $4

POWDERED WIGS -   SLOW STROBE CDR
David Wightman (extreme animals/fortress of amplitude) comes correct on this new cdr.  that is, if correct is heartbeats and tones pulsing, electronic fireworks blasting over, what?  what's that? a symphony?  uncharted territory!  percussive electronics and classical compositions together (and not) at last!  for fans (me) of what sound like triggered synth drums and bass dribbles.
black on black print/ gold spraypaint insert in jewel case.  cdr
$6
BENGEORGE7 / BUFFLE SPLIT C38
international piss!  this thing has taken forever to come together.  a stellar showing on both sides.  buffle with a long form creeper, chock full o' thuds and grunts, not evil, but not a babysitter.  "takes you there."  bengeorge7 side is a return to form of sorts.  USA songs, fake versions of original songs, songs about police i think?  it's like being on aspirin, only better. (lieven's scan, our print is blue & black on grey!)  $6
OCCASIONAL FOREST - OPEN FLAME SESSIONS CDR
the soundtrack to something special.  home studio recording from a 1970 partially inhabited sugar mansion in rural pennsylvania.  awesome covers of steppenwolf, jimi hendrix, the beatles and more.  guitar solos, organ up front, some of the best most uninhibited drumming ever.  just a bunch of dudes jammin between beers, feels so right on this summer night!  seriously. $5
MATT WESTON / DAN CASHMAN DUO 3"CDR
return of the rat.  no greg sage, but all kinds of vermin noises, rats in the drums, rats in the mouth, rats on a cymbal, rats in a throat.  real deal, recorded live, dan cash from anthro rex/grey skull leading the vocal charge and matt weston from barn owl playing the war drums.  2 man army attacking, uh, maybe a compost pile?  NICE!
full color cut/fold cover in sleeve, 3"cdr.
$5

SCHURT KWITTERS 3" CDR
touch-fuggin-down!  all beat barrage from the jess, lead singer of fat worm of error.  seamless splicing of all sorts of rhythmic ca-sludge-io.  a trip across the unhinged astral plane of dance music, that is if you like to have dance parties in the 'appliance section' of the local landfill or chuck-e-cheese ball pit.  totally awesome 18 minutes.
full color insert / screened cdr.
$6
GANG WIZARD - WHY IS THERE A GOD LP
It's that time of your life again.  breaking the rules never felt so cool.  tying the shoes of rock together, total freaking out, ugly the morning after type of jams, feel your mind expand as you listen.  nothing like it. For people familiar with the GWiz trajectory, this album is a good mix of it all....will not disappoint!
silkscreen cover
LP $7 (ps, the cover is one color ink on brown paper)
LAUDABLE PUS / MOSCOW MULE SPLIT C30  (FOUND A FEW COPIES!  10 LEFT!)
Nasty dudes get raw!!  moscow mule is a bass drums duo spewing forth garlic raw energy, not unlike punk, really grizzly.  the laudable pus side features an amazing led zeppppplin cover and lots of desparate disgusting jams, shitty quality with synth squelches, all zits no hits, totally rules. $5
ANGEL DUST - UPPERS / DOWNERS C35  (LAST COPIES!  10 LEFT)
eerie harsh-bergs crossing that plain.  space waste and all that penned up aggression from losing at street fighter 2 your entire life.  also feels like alcoholism and heartburn.  real greasy and negative (in a good way). features members of Knifestorm, Max noi mach, human adult band, etc..  phillly stand up!  continuing the amazing tradition of shitted on cover songs being on everything breaking world puts out, this time a Master P cover is in there (including a remix!).  $6

WATERSPORTS - A VERY WEINACHTEN CDR (LAST COPIES!  10 LEFT!)
aged to perfection, a whisperer of a release.  this is more hush than harsh, more barely than gnarly.  not exactly lush or textural, not eggzactly ambient or cascading, watersports take their time rising into view, surrounding the air, keeping the sound waves surfable.  real nice.  drug music if you like drugs.  then again, what music isn't drug music if you like drugs?
full color in jewel case.
cdr.  $6

Pak s/t 3" cdr
an unending ball of difficulty, this release has been slopped through more rubbish to get to the finish line, but it's finally proper, and by mistake!  while digging through my computer i found a proper file that would burn without destroying 1/2 the cdrs, so it's real and here, now, in all it's glory.  really glad too, because this is a great great release, in beautiful packaging.
the armpit of life has teeth.  behind those dentures of filth is a tongue and a throat.  it's gurgling up some wilted bile. maximum gargle.  like a squeeling wet noodle.  "extended vocal technique" if you're down. a really really awesome all vocal turnip mash (secret, there's a couple tape loops, can you find em!??
3" cdr, black/white insert relief print cover.
$6

"Remember when..." a collection of mark-missing kids songs compiled by J. Burkett
This collection brings together a bunch of amazing "kids" 45's compiled over the years by Mystery Train wizard Joshua Burkett.  Lots of mis-fires, awkward attempts at sentimentality and really confusing gestures towards 'kids.'  still, somewhere inside (at least some) of these there is a real beauty and a suggestion of some sort of other magical world where kids (or adults imagining they're kids) are able to stretch the limits of reality.  a great collection!
$4, full color cover by crystal regan, colored by gwm.

WEIRDO / BEGEIRDO "ARCTIC CARCASS" CDR
a collection of previously released tracks from one of my favorite bands in recent memory.  britt once said something to the effect of "a bunch of stoned girls and me hitting a wood block" when we were talking about the band.  you've seen monty python with the monks hitting themselves with the wood tablets, and you've heard the story of the buddhist climbing the moutain in search of enlightenment only to be hit on the head with a stick, you've seen backyard wrestling on youtube.  you're waiting for that moment where human ingenuity is faced with the utter simple truths of what in fact matters.  it's not nanobots, double quarter negative economic growth or lacanian definitions of happiness.  it's "a bunch of stoned girls and [britt] hitting a wood block."  because really, what more can be said?  GET THIS!
full color artwork by gwm in a jewel case.

GREY SKULL "SOFT SPOT" 2xc30
From the rustling ferns, the piss soaked alley, the abandoned shadows of the basement, the unspoken broken bones of the animal kingdom, the searing canyons of a spiritual root canal, grey skull harvests the worst womb waste yet.  one full side a deep winter jam totally collapsed ice avalanche pumelling and thundering through the light, the other three sides span the last 2 years, a few live sets, some studio sessions and a bunch of jam tapes.  A pretty wide reach and a lot of heat and meat broiling through the veins. Depth like boiled hair and shaving the ends off of bones.  Co-released w/ Bonescraper in an edition of 100.  full color covers art by jeff hartford and george w myers in plastic double cassette cases.
2x c30 $7

DEFNEG  F.A.R.T.F
a throwback release!  the kings of fart sounds, dislocated drum beats, bass lines from the back of your mind, squirming and squeeking electronic burps and an insatiable appetite for goofy apparel.   this c30 collects a 'legendary' live set from defneg along with an older, longform space taste.  one on each side accompanied by a couple new tracks. the live set features the now (in)famous "pink floid / who farted" jam!  back in the high life.  comes packaged in color paper sleeve.
